WHO ARE WE

Kweneng District Ventures (Proprietary) Limited (KDV) is a private company wholly owned by the Kweneng District Council in Botswana. KDV has developed its own constitution to govern its affairs via an independent board of directors.

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE

The objectives of the company are:

To generate revenue for the Kweneng District Council that will be utilised to empower the community through various development initiatives.
To contribute to Kweneng District Council’s financial sustainability.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Corporate governance and ethical conduct are embodied in the Board Charter and the Company Code of Conduct respectively. These are championed by the Board of Directors and cascade down to management and staff where they are applied in their daily activities. We expect our partners to practice good corporate governance and to conduct themselves in an ethical and transparent manner
